Priest / Re: Goading
« on: May 25, 2011, 01:57:22 AM »
Hi all,

The priest energy is difficult to handle, but quite beautiful - like all the others - when you don't get attach to it.  I am a priest, and honestly, sometimes I feel like the last person to be looked upon for inspiration.

Maybe because I have used a lot of priest energy at my jobs, the last thing I now want to do with some of my friends is talk about their life and their issues.  Funny is, sometimes it's expected (partly because they have done it so much with me), and we end up doing it.  This is why I think one of my best friends is a sage and another a server with sage casting -- let's pass the time well and have fun.

It is said in MSFM that old kings become hobos because they want no more responsibility.  I am a late old priest, and I am beginning to feel like that in regards to helping people.   Saying "Go on brother!" in an encouraging manner, is my attitude increasingly so.

Warrior / Re: Mature/old Warriors
« on: May 25, 2011, 01:02:27 AM »
Hi there,

I must say that warriors, I think, are also victims of stereotype.  I have had close relationships with two mature female warriors, and, in my experience, they get as emotionally attached (henceforth hurt, etc...) as any other mature soul.

It seems to me that warriors are specially susceptible to the actions of the people they like.  I confided something to a warrior friend (old warrior) that I should not have confided . Afterwards I told him I should not have done that because I was putting him in a liable position.  He did not speak to me in week because he could not believe I did not trust him enough.

I have another friend who is an old warrior.  He got into a lot of fights when he was younger, but lost most, if not all, of them.  Now he dislikes violence (maybe he had to go through that as way to manifest his true soul age) and has a difficult time watching a game of American Football.  He still enjoys getting pushed around in the mosh pit though.

The Seven Goals / Discrimination and priest role
« on: April 15, 2011, 05:04:51 PM »
Hi,

I am interested in how some goals mix and match with certain roles.  The priest role, which is about unity, seems to be at odds with the goal of discrimination.  Nevertheless, that combination exists.  What does a fragment with this combination look like, what would be the strengths of this combination, what talents does it facilitate, what career...?

Any input is appreciated.

Daniel
