Soul Age / Re: Old Souls in a Young Soul World
« on: May 08, 2014, 04:40:51 PM »
Like most of you, I think young souls have their place--in fact, every soul age has its place and function.  And, like you, I surely do appreciate all the technological and other inventions young souls have given us!  Even the TV shows are appreciated.  (well, except for the zombie craze, which I avoid at all costs)

As an old soul, I often feel out of place in our young-soul society, but I'm also very individualistic, so I'm okay with that.  As long as they don't try to force me to participate in their dramas and other scenarios, I'm fine.

I don't know whether it's from being an old soul, or just the physicality of this lifetime, but simply witnessing all the seemingly limitless energy of young souls makes me tired.   :)

The Roles (or Soul Types) / Re: Understanding casting

I am understanding casting a little more now.  And I can see the influence of my King casting more clearly.  It does come across as authority to some, but to others it comes across as...controlling is probably the closest I can come to describing it.

Perhaps, too, my King casting blunts my ability to have the gift of gab--which I don't have at all.  And my (inadvertent) bluntness abrades a lot of people and causes misinterpretation of my meaning.  This is something I have been working on.

Unfortunately, there are those who go by their first impression and do not change their opinion no matter what.  But that is their choice.  I can only continue to try to understand as much as possible about my casting and how it affects me.

I don't know.  I don't know when I am in my positive poles or negative poles.  How can you tell?

Cynicism is a defense against people who take a blindly optimistic view of what it actually takes to make something work.

This reminds me of politics here in Kentucky (maybe politics in general).  People moan and groan and bitch about the obviously and blatantly corrupt officials, yet they keep electing them in the hopes that "this time it will be different".  Or they elect a college basketball star thinking that athletic prowess will translate into political ability, lol.  true case btw;  he turned out to be pretty darn bad, but it took them several terms to figure it out.

There's a quote about the definition of insanity that goes something like this:  the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expect a different result.

imo, you can substitute stupidity for insanity and it works just as well.

Okay, it may be just a brain-dead day for me, but.....what do INFJ, ENFP, and MBTI mean?

By the way, I'm a Sage, Idealist in emotional part of intellectual, with an Artisan ET (discarnate), for what it's worth.

I've seen Source Code.  I thought it was all right, but nothing special.

I don't know if it has anything to do with the nexus or not, but I've had a very bad week--all sorts of bad news.  Nothing good.    :(

We come to believe that the hard shell is the only thing keeping us alive and that being softer will surely mean something bad will happen. But man, once you just surrender, it feels so much better - weird, but better! It's been a long process for me, and it's still going on.

Yes, I am still afraid of the vulnerability of opening myself up, but you're right, it feels better--and more true to myself--when I am able to do that.

And it's an ongoing process for me, too.  I think it always will be.

In fact, I have spent my life acting harder and colder than I actually am because of them.

I, too, had done this all my life, because of things that happened to me (not what happened to you with your mother, but other things).

Over the years, I have gradually and consciously tried to stop acting this way, because it's not really me.  I am actually a friendly, empathetic person, although some people would never believe it!   ;D    So I can understand where you're coming from.

One thing:  after so many years of acting out this facade, I found it was a habit, and it's difficult to break, so I have to make a conscious effort--but it's worth it.  I feel more comfortable with myself now.

As far as the agreement goes, that really all I know - there is an agreement, which means that there is an established relationship before the personality first discovers the teaching on the physical plane. That's why there is an immediate recognition.

Cadres 1 and 2 are the first cadres in the energy ring immediately after the one containing the Michael entity. Shephard Hoodwin has a thorough discussion of this in The Journey of your Soul, and the relevant excerpt is posted on the site at: http://www.michaelteachings.com/cadres_shep.html

You'll notice what Shephard calls a cadre group is the same arrangement that J.P. calls an energy ring, and that they've got somewhat of a disagreement - Shepard has Michael in the ring two in front of ours, while JP has them in the ring immediately preceding ours.

There are several other articles on cadres and entities at http://www.michaelteachings.com/cadre_entity_index.html

Thanks...I've read those articles.  I was hoping for something specific.  Oh, well...I'm sure I'll find it eventually.

People who are attracted to the teaching usually have an agreement with Michael, frequently over several lifetimes. There are a few people who discovered Michael while they were incarnate and became intrigued, but that's fairly rare. That's why the teaching is loaded with first and second cadre people. It's not that those two cadres have most of the late mature and old souls -- far from it. It's that those two cadres are in an energetic relationship with the Michael entity where Michael is an obvious candidate for the teacher slot.

Really?  I'm in cadre 2.  Where can I learn more about the agreement with Michael and/or the energetic relationship?

Karma / Re: Philanthropic Karma

It's the other side of the karma coin.   :)

I don't think it's a natural side effect at all.  I really don't see what the issue is here.  You switch genders with lifetimes; sometimes you're male, sometimes you're female.  I don't think your gender, sexual orientation, or psyche carries over into the next lifetime, unless there's a karmic reason for it to do so.

As to whether we are innately bisexual:  I would say, rather, that essence is omnisexual, if it is sexual at all.  I believe that sex is a physical phenomenon and unnecessary once we have cycled off the physical plane--at least, sex as we know it   :)

How did this topic get changed from "how to tell people about Michael" to a discussion on sex switching?
