General Discussion / Can a Sage be introverted?
« on: August 03, 2016, 04:08:05 PM »
I don't know how many of us are also fans of Jungian typology, but I just came across a Sage who says he is introverted. Do we know how common this is?

Thank you - that is funny that you were actually called the Big Lebowski, haha :)

I have always wondered what it was like to have the goal of Flow (formerly goal of Stagnation), maybe because I am in Growth and that is the exact opposite. If you have the goal of Flow or know someone who does, what is it like? My idea of it is this - the Dude from The Big Lebowski:

Welcome, Sojourner! This forum has been quiet for a while, but hopefully we can get it hopping again! I am curious about your goal of Flow, so maybe I'll start a new thread to ask you about it :)

How would you describe the twin flame? I've heard the term, but I'm not too familiar with what it refers to.

I still have a soft spot for the original from...1968??

What a great film score by Jerry Goldsmith. I listen to it on Spotify from time to time.

Best,
Dave

It's so Star Trek!!!

The Seven Centers / Re: Male Moving Centred World

Personally I have no problem with maleness, aggressiveness, or moving-centeredness. In fact, I think all those things are pretty great, when applied correctly. Nor do I think the world is messed up - it is exactly what it's supposed to be. But that doesn't mean we can't make it better ;)

Haha, well, that's clear as mud :D I actually feel pretty sure about being a King - I just sometimes like to throw a monkey wrench into things I'm sure about, just to make sure I haven't wrongly settled into any assumptions and takings-for-granted.

As for Hillary, I have been reading a biography of her by Carl Bernstein, and based on that, I have 100% confidence that she is a full blast early Mature Warrior. It's a great read, I recommend it to anyone who is interested in knowing who HRC is.

Yeah, 6th level old. You're right, I'm not an ordinal person at all, even when I do something ordinal. Yeah, I think I will have Shepherd do my chart, I like his work!

Book & Movie Reviews / Re: The seven types of personality book

I think there are several Michael books out there that try to present the material to a wider audience by leaving out the less empirical aspects of the teachings, and focusing more on the things people can use no matter what their belief system is. So they're not going to talk about reincarnation, channeling, planes of existence, etc., but only the useful information about personalities and how to understand others.

I don't know if Tao to Earth and Earth to Tao, by Jose Stevens, ever made it into French translations, but I find those to be the most methodical and complete Michael books.

Did you ever learn if your ET is incarnate or discarnate? The bleed through always interests me. If your ET is incarnate, for instance, you should show more server bleed through. In other words, you'd look like a King/Server. In that case, some people might mistake you for a server.

Well, I am 99.99% sure I am married to my ET, although I have never had that channeled. It's just...obvious. And he is most definitely a Priest. Now, from an exercise that I did with Ted Fontaine over 15 years ago, as I understand it, I am Server cast in the Artisan Entity. I don't know if that makes sense - it's been a long time since I delved into this aspect of things!

AND, as I go through a kind of extended period of therapy and sloughing off baggage and imprinting, I sometimes wonder if I am actually a Server in Power Mode. I know I definitely have the authority of a King (though I have no wish to be anyone's authority or tell anyone what to do, I'm more of a cheerleader/insight pointer-outer), and am deeply gratified by service, so, I think maybe Server in Power mode could also fit that scenario.

Hi Jean-François -

Nice to meet you! I'm a 6th level old King who is also an "80% Catholic", and I also believe in reincarnation and not in Hell :) I like to say that the Michael Teachings are the "operating system" that I run my "Catholic" program on, if that makes any sense to you at all. It will be interesting to see how you feel about your overleaves as time goes on and you continue to study the teachings. I know that I was guessed to be a Warrior and a Server by various people before I was accurately pegged as a King (although truthfully I feel more like a Server these days), so, the first guesses aren't always where you end up. Loo.king forward to sharing more with you here.

Take care,
Chiara :)

General Discussion / Re: What drives the id?

This is the problem with many of these systems of understanding humans -- they don't take into account that we are animals as well as spirits. As primates whose organisms developed in a very different situation than technology has brought us to now, we have a biological need not to be alone. It's not just spiritual -- it's like, you're not going to physically survive if you are shut out of the tribe. "Being happy with myself" isn't going to protect me when the winter is cold and food is hard to find, or I am attacked by a wolf or a member of an enemy tribe or just name your life-threatening situation that you can't handle alone. And being alone doesn't make babies and assure the survival of the species. Therefore, we have a primal drive to be with others that won't go away just because I started thinking about it a different way.

And as to "negative" things being "false," well, guess what? This planet is based on death. Everything on it kills so that it may live - even sweet, innocent things like trees and plants, some of which are known to send out poisons into the ground to prevent competitor plants from springing up around it. Even vegetarians are killing and consuming living plants, not to mention all the small rodents and rabbits that are murdered every time a field is harvested. Heck, we murder thousands of small organisms every day every time we take a shower. So, let's get over the idea that we can be spirits of light floating above and untouched by all this struggle and death. All we can do is reduce the harm we cause, try to love each other, and understand that we're all in this together.

And yes, if you are a rapist and puppy eater - DO NOT BE YOURSELF, PLEASE!!! Please be very very fake, for all our sakes ;D
