The Seven Roles > Artisan
something tangible?
jo:
Just read this:
"Artisans are impelled to make things. They get restless if they do not create something tangible. It is their nature to produce physical objects. They generate an idea, and from within themselves they spew it out into material reality. They take the raw material in their hands and fashion it into things of beauty or function. Gadgets and gizmos are their stock in trade."
I wonder, how this fits with a lot of things artisans create and then express: music, drawing, any verbal expressions, thoughts, theories, writing.
Is sound (music), drawing, or verbal/written expression of a creation/idea/combination of ideas, something physical? ???
Greeting, jo

It certainly could be, but I think that those things are more in the purview of the sage.

Okay. Maybe these things are more in the purview of the sage. But in the text it's also written, that there were inventor artisans, artist artisans and physicist artisan. And except the inventors, all are not producing something physical, what is "tangible".

Hey Jo, I'm an artisan and I have never been into stuff like crafts and all that kind of stuff...I only enjoyed building things out of lego's as a kid :D I don't think to be an artisan one has to be physically creating things all the time and I do believe it can very well be ideas which lead to creating something and drawing etc...Ahh im rambling now. My artisan role is more evident in my dreaminess and aloofness plus I dont like large groups of people and I am VERY good at daydreaming and I have been lost in my own world since I was a little kid. Maybe I just havent found the thing that I would enjoy creating...I do enjoy cooking sometimes and making up my own recipes...I guess that's creativity...+ playing the sims 3 and living out different funny scenarios and lives virtually :)
Do you know your essence twin and whether the soul is incarnate or discarnate? Mine is a discarnate Sage, and I read on some michael page that discarnate ones have a heavier influence on us and causes a lot of so called bleedthrough in our lives...So I am also manifesting a lot of sage qualities in this lifetime due to that. Somewhere I read that casting also plays a big part in our lives...+ ofcourse our soul age and goal and mode and everything does. For example, my goal is acceptance (im not really pushing forward in this life) + im old soul level 3 which is a stage of not so much outward activity..I guess thats why im not really creating that much right now. Maybe it would help for you to go through your own overleaves as well :)
Sorry for the long ramble,
Ocean (Sofia)
jo:
Yes, by now i did that. I'm now pretty sure, that I am an artisan.
I have a scholar ET, and maybe he/she is discarnated. Additionally, i'm intellectual centered. So my creativity is mainly drawn to thinking. Maybe it's the emotional center, that makes you wanna draw paintings or something like that.
With a Goal of Flow I'm pushing even less forward. Just saw the translation of the positive pole, that's funny... ^^
Greeting, jo
PS: In the german teaching old 3 is the last outgoing tiring level in the cycle of incarnations (where you can "rise" to fame for the last time; at least that's what I've read). Which makes sense, because of the warrior energy. A bit confusing, as yet.
