Internal Monads / Re: 3rd internal Monad
« on: September 04, 2011, 12:05:43 AM »
The 3rd internal monad refers to the the young soul age. Right?
So, does the "do it my way"- thing in the young soul age, contain, that you don't wanna do things, others tell you to do, even if you would want to do them, when the others would want you to do different things?

Greeting, jo

The third internal monad has an element of 3-ness, of course, but that doesn't mean that you can just copy things over from the Young soul age or the Warrior role in Essence. It's the age at which the child has grown to where he can leave home and strike out on his own. Trying to stifle that because "the law says you can't leave school until you're 16 and leave home until you're 18" when he's ready at 14 is going to lead to a certain amount of friction.

Soul Age / Re: POLL: What is Your Soul Age?
« on: September 03, 2011, 11:58:44 PM »
@Stefan I read that too. But here ary many old 6 and old 7 people, presenting themselves in public. Although ina Book of Varda Hasselmann was written, that people with this soul age aren't interested in such teachings and in showing themselves in public. *shrug*

Greeting, jo

I think there's some soul age inflation going on. 7th Old is the "final exam," so there shouldn't be a whole lot of learning left to do. Teaching, yes. 6th old? I can think of some reasons why someone at 6th old would hang around the MT, and also some reasons why they wouldn't.

Joya Pope said 1st old, JP vanHulle said 6th old.

King / Re: Magnetic Kings
« on: August 30, 2011, 11:32:08 PM »
I thought that was a given, that essences would want to reunite.  Isn't that what we all do as we move through our evolution and progress to the Tao?

Exactly. So why is there a need for a Magnetic King, since that's what we are all inevitably doing anyway? What makes a group surrounding a Magnetic King different from a group of Task Companions or any other group working together? There is a certain vagueness about the concept here.

They're larger groups, and not as well organized. Remember that the essential nature of the King is to organize activity. Task companions, sextets, quadrants, etc. don't need a King to function. One of the given examples was a Magnetic Old King who was an orchestra conductor; his "kingdom" had assembled as an orchestra.

Book & Movie Reviews / Re: Planet of the Apes

Which version is this?

Didn't they have a sequel? Planet of the Grapes or something?

Of cadre group two, which has an agreement to study with micheal, right? :)
What use do I/someone have of the information, that I'm/he/she is in the 2nd (or four *shrug*:) )/whatever Cadre? Of any cadre group, noone knows?
Does that gives you any information ???

Greeting, jo

It's like most of the information. If it resonates, use it, otherwise lose it.

okay, then I'm in an artisan entity, that's matching. Just found and read this:
I was just confused, because on this site ( the entities are described so detailed.
But it's probably just an example for the different energies, each number/position of an entity has. Like you've said.

Greeting, jo

That one is a description of the entities in the first cadre (Shepherd's third cadre.) I suppose a note should be added to that effect.

Maybe I start a bit earlier. I read the describtions of the 7 Entitys. And at first I looked, if the describtion of my entity fits to me, which did very good. (3rd entity)
But I wondered, if there are always these 7 entitys, in every cadre, with the same "way of being and doing" and the same allocation of roles? In another teaching, there where a whole much more different entitys, with more different occupations and allocations of roles

a bit confused  ??? :(

Greeting, jo

Cadres all have 7 entities, and the numeric position does influence how they feel and act, but beyond that it's highly individual. It's not like if you know one # 1 entity you know them all. You can see the "1-ness," but each one will express it a different way.

King / Re: Magnetic Kings
« on: August 27, 2011, 06:18:48 PM »
I wonder if there's a soul age and level that all the fragments have to be in order to participate in a magnetic kingdom.  Or maybe a soul age/level range?  Anybody know?

I doubt if there's any hard and fast rule. Members of a kingdom probably have to have spent enough lifetimes with the King to make it worth while spending a lifetime together, so I'd think they'd mostly be old, possibly some late mature.

Artisan / Re: Picky
« on: August 25, 2011, 03:57:48 AM »
jo, I might call that as being part of Impatience, since that feeling that there is something better out there but one is missing out on it is characteristic of Impatience. I think we would have to have some more examples to really figure out where this is coming from. For instance, being picky could also be an aspect of having a goal of Discrimination.

Yeah, Discrimination. Or too many planets in Virgo.

Artisan / Re: something tangible?
« on: August 25, 2011, 03:55:54 AM »
Just read this:
"Artisans are impelled to make things. They get restless if they do not create something tangible. It is their nature to produce physical objects. They generate an idea, and from within themselves they spew it out into material reality. They take the raw material in their hands and fashion it into things of beauty or function. Gadgets and gizmos are their stock in trade."
I wonder, how this fits with a lot of things artisans create and then express: music, drawing, any verbal expressions, thoughts, theories, writing.
Is sound (music), drawing, or verbal/written expression of a creation/idea/combination of ideas, something physical? ???

Greeting, jo

It certainly could be, but I think that those things are more in the purview of the sage.

King / Re: Magnetic Kings
« on: August 23, 2011, 02:23:50 AM »
I read something online in the Michael teacdhings that seemed to indicate that any role could be magnetic in the 6th old.  Comments?

I wouldn't be all that surprised to find that Sages have Audiences and Priests have Congregations in the same way that Kings have Kingdoms. If so, it seems entirely reasonable that most of the people in a Sage's Audience or the people in a Priest's Congregation could get together for one final huge gathering during the 6th level old.

The other roles? Doubt it. They don't tend to have natural leadership characteristics around which large groups of the same people cluster, lifetime after lifetime.

Would a Magnetic Old Glutton attract refrigerator doors?

The Seven Chief Fears (or Features) / Re: Self-Destruction
« on: August 23, 2011, 02:10:37 AM »
i think i can agree with this, especially insidous. If it should be true, that I have/had this feature. Symptomes was there. But I don't understand, why it's about the fear of losing control. Fear of loosing control about your "managing" of life and therefore, do not accomplish, what you want to in a lifetime?
I also read, that Self-Destruction reacts to stress with the false belief, that life isn't worth living and therefore you destroy yourself. So it's a way of justifying (for yourself), that you don't wanna deal with the stressy parts of your life?
And therefore, you could think, life is not worth living, because it's existencially stupid. (Just because you decide, that it is)
Don't know ??? I would have to think about this again, but not now  :)

Greeting, Raoul  :)

Jose Stevens' book, Transforming Your Dragons, is the most recommended text on the chief features. It's still in print and available from the usual suspects.

The Seven Attitudes / Re: Strange thoughts in Stoic Attitude
« on: August 16, 2011, 04:25:10 PM »
The Following could sound a bit weird, but I think this Forum has a relatively objective view on things, without making that much drama ;). (like a miedeval priest or something, would do :)^^)
I'm sometimes tempted, when I'm in Resignation, to think: Ahh, I hate everything, I just want to split myself from the whole controlled universe (by fate or God), and do my own thing (Is this like what the Archangels did?) Not really to be happier, but to have the Power on my own, and being independant, and don't controlled. Am I thinking this, because of the Stoic attitude, or because of another reason?
And I'm sometimes angry, when I think, that this is probably impossible and I have to stay bonded with it. Do you maybe have some useful thoughts or ideas, I could use against this, or to accept the way it is?
Oh, I could/would like to write so much more, but that would be... probably too much, and too unclear thoughts ::) (for a Forum)
You have to clarify the most of your inner "things"(thoughts, ideas, occupations) for yourself, I guess. Is this for you the same?

Greeting, Raoul

The "Serenity Prayer" has been kicking around for a long time. There are multiple versions.

Give me the grace to accept what can't be changed,
The courage to change what can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

The originator probably did not use this as the last line: "and enough ammunition to make it happen."

I agree with Chiara - that doesn't sound very much like Resignation. If it is, you might try the positive pole of the opposite overleaf on the axis: Spiritualist +Verification.

You are banning 20 People every day :o?

That was 2 1/2 months ago. And yes, if you don't have spam protections on a forum, you get spammers.

Channeling / Re: Channeling: Fact or Fiction
« on: August 15, 2011, 02:59:58 AM »
It's not what we call the categories that matters. I was using that as shorthand for "factual, verifiable, or at least fitting within a framework of other verifiable material." Believe me, lots of the greatest literature, art, poetry, music, etc. doesn't fall in either camp. But when it comes to material upon which I'm going to base my philosophies of living and on which I'm going to spend already too limited time and energy, I want those philosophies to have some kind of factual basis.

Not that everything is directly verifiable by a single person of course. Sometimes you just have to "consider the source" and if a statement about X is made, perhaps the best you can do is see that statements Y and Z proved reliable, raising the probability that X may be true as well.

Michael's claims about Atlantis kind of fall in that category for me. In the 70s there seemed to be efforts to look for convincing evidence that Atlantis existed. Is any such effort still going on?

Sure. There are still people looking for "Atlantis." The latest I've heard is some kind of a circular, city-sized formation in Spain. That was this year.

What gets me is the amount of energy behind it, when all we really have is two Platonic dialogs where Plato claims to have gotten the information from his ancestor, Solon, who in turn got them from Egyptian priests. In the second dialog he admits having changed details to get his point across more clearly.

This isn't what I'd call the most trustworthy provenance. However, it seems to have grabbed the public imagination, which sometimes means that there's something there, however dimly remembered and distorted.
